Managing Lists & DataMagnetMail contains a full contact management system for administering lists and data. Automated processes exist to handle some of the thornier aspects of managing e-mail campaigns, such as a de-duping and managing bounces and unsubscribes. Uploading lists into MagnetMail is easy. First, organize the list into an Excel spreadsheet (.csv file). Next, a 4-step wizard guides you through the upload process and matching ("mapping") the list's fields with those in your MagnetMail database. With a mouse click, your list is then uploaded into the system. Individual records in MagnetMail contain 12 standard fields (e.g. first name, last name, address, etc.) as well as up to 30 customizable fields that users can create with a few mouse clicks. Perhaps the greatest advantage of MagnetMail is its powerful search and segmentation capabilities. This feature leverages all of the data in the MagnetMail system - standard fields, custom fields, plus any tracking information from e-mails, e-surveys, e-forms, and faxes – to create highly targeted groups and lists. |
