Real Magnet Announces 2017 Magnet Award Winners
Bethesda, MD: 10/2/17 – With the conclusion of another successful RMUG conference, Real Magnet would like to acknowledge and congratulate the winners of the second annual Magnet Awards for customer excellence.
The Magnet Awards are awarded to the Real Magnet client or partner who best demonstrates creativity and expertise in one of the six award categories. For the second year in a row, the Magnet Awards were announced during breakfast on the closing day of RMUG.
RMUG is a two-day learning experience that blends the latest and greatest in digital marketing best practices with Real Magnet platform training, customer case studies and knowledge sharing, making it the ideal venue to announce the winners of the Magnet Awards. The awards presentation is a great learning experience for Real Magnet users who get to see the techniques and strategies that award winners are implementing to excel in their marketing endeavors.

Adage Technologies, Partner of the Year
This year, Adage Technologies has helped Real Magnet expand their reach and market presence. Based in Chicago and serving many associations, Adage was a natural fit to help expand Real Magnet’s brand awareness in the Midwest while exposing Real Magnet to new potential users in sectors like the Performing Arts.
YMCA Twin Cities, Most Innovative Marketers
Using statistical analysis, YMCA Twin Cities realized that members were most likely to renew if they came into the club at least 11 times in their first 18 days of membership. Armed with this data, YMCA Twin cities implemented a 20-message welcome campaign to inform new members of all their membership offerings and benefits.
ASHRAE, Best Social Media Marketers
Using a combination of Real Magnet’s social publishing tools, social card templates, and Facebook ads, ASHRAE saw engagement on Facebook increase by 129.5%, and impressions by 31.3% from the previous Society Year.
MetLife Stadium, Best Mobile Marketers
Realizing that over 70% of their email opens were coming via mobile, MetLife Stadium implemented a mobile-first strategy that encourages recipients to share their content via Twitter, Instagram and iMessage. This approach has helped them double their click rate and increase social sharing from their recipients, helping them further expand their reach.
National Recreation and Parks Association, Best Email and Landing Page Design
Through their email and landing page design, NRPA created cohesive brand unity across all efforts, while generating an ethos that is in line with their organizational goals of promoting healthy, social, outdoor fun.
Entomological Society of America, Marketing Team of the Year
Since implementing Real Magnet in 2014, the Entomological Society’s three-person team has developed and deployed an initiative using Real Magnet’s marketing automation and landing pages to improve the quality of demographic data they have regarding their members. With better demographic data, they can now focus on more personalized efforts to encourage members to take advantage of their many membership benefits.
