Creating E-mail Messages

There are 3 ways to add content to MagnetMail:

1. Using the Simple HTML Editor

The content editor’s familiar looking icon bar contains all of the functionality you’ll need to create great looking HTML e-mails. By clicking the various icons, you can:

Insert images
Create trackable hyperlinks
Embed surveys or forms
Add personalization
Select font styles, colors, and sizes
Spell check messages, and more

2. Using a "Plug and Play" Template

Under this method, users add content into form fields whose attributes are pre-defined. The graphic look and feel of the template is "hard coded" as well so precise brand consistency is guaranteed for every broadcast. The Plug and Play approach is ideal for brand sensitive companies with multiple autonomous users. It also works well for promotional messages and certain types of newsletters.

3. Copy and Paste HTML Code from HTML Editor Software.

The other way to add content is to copy and paste code from HTML editing software, such as Dream Weaver, directly into MagnetMail.

Other Key Features

Delivery of HTML and text messages
MagnetMail automatically creates a text version of the HTML message, which a user can edit at any time. When a message arrives at a recipient's in-box, MagnetMail checks whether the individual can receive an HTML or text-only message and delivers the proper version.

Personalization
Messages can be personalized with any of MagnetMail’s standard fields (name, address, city, etc.) or custom fields. Users can create up to 30 custom fields with a few mouse clicks.

Substitute attachment process to avoid filters
Many SPAM filters will block messages containing attachments for fear of passing through a virus. MagnetMail’s “Upload and Link” feature allows you to upload an attachment to Real Magnet’s servers and generate a link to include in your message. Recipients can view and print the attachment by simply clicking the link. Not only does this avoid certain filters, but the link is trackable!

SPAM checker
MagnetMail’s SPAM checker analyzes the content of messages for attributes that may trigger SPAM filters. It applies more than 1,000 rules to a message’s content - testing items such as word use, colors, fonts, as well as message headers, subject line, and the "from" field. A report is generated that helps clients refine their message.
